TERRA SPAN
A heavy-lift vessel carrying new machinery, seen from directly above

Logistics

  • Own routes
  • Own hubs

Heavy machinery is awkward freight: over-height, over-width, and worth more than the truck underneath it. It moves on our own routes, through our own transhipment hubs, and clears customs with our own brokers — from the factory gate to the site.

01 / 06 Origin

Origin

Eight marques, every one of them held on a direct contract with the plant that builds it. The origin map is not a claim about reach — it is the list of those plants, and it is checkable against the contracts.

Jebel Ali — the hub, not the source

Cargo moves both ways through Dubai: outbound from stock we already hold, inbound from the plants we represent.

02 / 06 The chain

One chain

Freight forwarding is normally a relay. Every leg belongs to a different company, and the machine changes hands at each joint — which is precisely where cargo waits, documents diverge and responsibility turns into a conversation. Our routes, our hubs and our brokers are one company from the quay to the site, and the joints are ours to answer for.

03 / 06 The hub

Jebel Ali

Port, customs and warehouse inside a single perimeter. Goods held here never formally enter the UAE market, so re-export carries no local duty — the structural reason a machine standing in Dubai reaches Central Asia on better terms than the same machine bought in Europe.

“In stock” means the unit is standing in that warehouse. A production slot at the factory is not availability, and we do not quote it as one.

  • 350,000 m² under our own control
  • New machinery only — no used stock
  • Re-export carries no local duty

04 / 06 Corridors

Corridors

Sea, road, rail and air. The mode follows the corridor, the dimensions of the unit and the urgency of the job — not a preference of ours, and not whichever carrier answered the enquiry first.

Transit times are not published. They are individual: the corridor and the Incoterm in the contract are what bind a delivery.

  • Middle East first, then Central Asia
  • One chain, not a list of subcontractors
  • Mode chosen per corridor and per unit

05 / 06 Last mile

Last mile

Delivery to the site, and past it by agreement. The lowbed, the escort and the route permits are arranged under the same contract as the sea leg — the machine does not become somebody else’s problem at the gate of the yard.

Oversize movements are planned before the vessel is booked, not discovered when it berths.

  • The Incoterm is named in the quote, not assumed
  • Certification prepared for the destination market
  • Customs cleared by our own brokers
